Nigerian singer Portable has opened up about his long-standing feud with renowned rapper Olamide.
According to Portable, the root of their disagreement lies in his feeling that Olamide could have offered more substantial support during his early days in the music industry, rather than just contributing a verse to the remix of his hit song “Zazu” in 2021.
In a recent interview, Portable expressed his gratitude towards British rapper Skepta, stating that he went above and beyond mere musical collaboration to assist him.
He said,
“I can’t drag Skepta because he hold my hand, Olamide didn’t hold my hand, he gave me a verse on ‘Zazu’ and left me without a management. He can’t sign me now because I’m now a global superstar.”
Portable has previously accused Olamide of “snatching” his producer, dancer, and promoter from him.
The rapper didn’t address the allegations.
