SO SAD! Bandits Kill Vice Chancellor Of University

Some Suspected bandits have fatally attacked and killed Prof. Yusuf Saidu, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto.

Prof. Yusuf Saidu, who held the position of DVC Research, Innovation, and Development at the university, tragically lost his life while traveling from Sokoto to Kaduna on Monday.

In an official statement, the university management announced,

“We regret to inform the public of the passing of Prof. Yusuf Saidu, the current Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Research, Innovation, and Development at Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto.” The statement revealed that he was ambushed and killed by bandits during his journey from Sokoto to Kaduna State. The late professor was praised by the university for his integrity, dedication to religion, and courageous character.

The university expressed profound sorrow over his untimely death, describing it as a significant loss.
