“The Take It Back Movement, a leading force behind the “End Bad Governance” protest, has announced a massive nationwide demonstration scheduled for Saturday, August 10.

The movement’s National Coordinator, Mr. Sanyaolu Juwon, made the announcement on Thursday, August 8, in Abuja, calling for a historic gathering of one million participants across all 36 states of Nigeria and the Federal Capital Territory.

This unprecedented mobilization aims to bring citizens together to demand an end to bad governance and advocate for transformative change in the country.”

“The Take It Back Movement, along with other organizers and organizations, will lead a significant one-million-man protest in each state and the Federal Capital Territory on August 10. This event is a crucial part of our nationwide End Bad Governance in Nigeria campaign, which began on August 1, 2024.”

The protest, which started on August 1, was initially planned as a 10-day event but has grown into a large-scale movement, attracting participants from all over Nigeria and the diaspora.

Its goal is to draw attention to the hardships faced in the country and demand action from all levels of government. The protest is expected to conclude on Saturday, August 10.
