SAD NEWS! 2 Dead, Many Injured As Bus Crashes In Abuja

A driver and one passenger were killed, while eight other passengers were injured when a bus crashed on the Abaji-Toto road in the Abaji Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

A witness reported that the sad accident occurred around 2 PM and involved a Sharon bus transporting passengers from Nasarawa to Kogi State.

The bus was said to have collided with a tricycle opposite the police station in Abaji town.

“The bus somersaulted and crashed into a ditch after the collision,” the witness said.

An official of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), who preferred to remain anonymous, confirmed the accident. The victims were evacuated to the Abaji General Hospital for treatment.
