JUST IN: Man Who Allegedly Killed His Ex-girlfriend Apprehended In Lagos State Bar

Fatai Mogaji, a suspect in the murder of his ex-girlfriend Opeyemi, has been apprehended in Lagos State. Mogaji had been evading capture after allegedly stabbing Opeyemi multiple times during a dispute on July 10, 2024, at a club in the Ikorodu area.

According to Opeyemi’s sister, the couple had reunited at the club and left together, but their encounter turned deadly when Mogaji reportedly stabbed Opeyemi 22 times during an argument. Opeyemi’s friends and acquaintances tracked down Mogaji at F1 Bar in Ikorodu and apprehended him.

He has since been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID) in Panti, Yaba, for further investigation and prosecution.

She wrote,

“Good evening friends, my sister’s killer, Fatai Mogaji Abdulsalam, was caught last night at F1 Bar Ikorodu by well-wishers and Ope’s friends. He has been moved to Panti Police Station.”
