Wolves Want To Sign Arsenal Goalkeeper Ramsdale
Wolverhampton Wanderers have made a move to sign Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale on a season-long loan deal. The offer, submitted on Monday, includes an option to make the transfer permanent in 2025.
Ramsdale, 26, has found himself out of favor at Arsenal since the arrival of David Raya on loan from Brentford in 2023.
Raya’s subsequent signing on a permanent basis has further pushed Ramsdale down the pecking order.
Despite limited playing time, making just 11 appearances last season, Ramsdale’s stock remains high, as evidenced by his inclusion in England’s Euro 2024 squad.
A loan move to Wolves could provide him with the opportunity to regain regular playing time and reestablish himself as a top-tier goalkeeper.

But, after joining the Gunners from Sheffield United in a £24m move in 2021 and having two years to run on his deal, he wants to play first-team football.
Ramsdale was an unused substitute as Arsenal opened their Premier League campaign with a 2-0 win against Wolves on Saturday.
Portugal international Jose Sa has been first choice at Molineux since joining the club in 2021 from Olympiakos.
