Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah is set to join Nottingham Forest in a £30 million deal after agreeing personal terms with the Premier League club. Arsenal have been keen to offload Nketiah this summer, but only if their full valuation is met.
The Gunners had previously rejected offers from Marseille, who eventually ended their interest in the 25-year-old. Nottingham Forest also saw an initial offer worth £25 million plus add-ons rejected by Arsenal.
However, according to Fabrizio Romano, Nketiah is now poised to join Forest after personal terms have been settled.
Nketiah is among the players Arsenal are willing to sell this summer, and his departure will likely pave the way for new signings at the Emirates.
The move to Nottingham Forest will provide Nketiah with a fresh start and an opportunity to play regular football, which may have been limited at Arsenal under Mikel Arteta’s management.
