Noussair Mazraoui, Manchester United’s defender, is facing a temporary setback after undergoing a minor heart procedure due to heart palpitations. This issue forced him to exit the game against Aston Villa at halftime and subsequently withdraw from Morocco’s national team.
According to club sources, Mazraoui’s condition is relatively common and the operation was minor. However, this isn’t his first encounter with heart-related issues; he was sidelined for three months in 2023 while playing for Bayern Munich due to complications from COVID-19.
Mazraoui’s expected recovery time is several weeks. His absence will add to Manchester United’s defensive woes, with other key players already injured. The team’s upcoming fixtures will likely see them without Mazraoui’s defensive skills.
