Arsenal have announced that goalkeeper Karl Hein has signed a new contract with the club.

The Gunners made the announcement on their website on Monday evening.

“We’re delighted to confirm Karl Hein has signed a new contract with the club,” read part of Arsenal’s statement.

Hein, who joined Arsenal in 2018 from Nõmme United, debuted at the age of 16.

The Estonia international started his Arsenal career as a scholar and turned professional the following year.

He first appeared in the club’s first-team squad during a Europa League match and spent the second half of the 2021/22 season on loan at Championship side Reading.

“I’m delighted to extend my contract and continue my journey at this amazing club after six years,” Hein said after signing the new contract.
