What was meant to be a joyful wedding day turned into a heartbreaking tragedy in Toro Local Government Area of Bauchi State. A groom and two of his close friends lost their lives in a fatal car accident.

The groom, identified as SP Mustapha Garba Gumau, was a senior police officer. He was traveling to Magaman-Gumau for his wedding fatiha when the accident occurred on Saturday morning.

According to eyewitnesses, the unfortunate incident happened around 9:00 am at Bargan Tsamiya village. It was just an hour before the scheduled ceremony.
