Renowned filmmaker and culture enthusiast, Ibrahim Chatta, has revealed that he invested a staggering N1.4 billion in his sprawling 74-acre film village in Oyo State.
This cultural and production hub showcases traditional Yoruba architecture, featuring indigenous-style houses, animal stables, and other structures.

In a recent video, Chatta shared that he single-handedly funded the project without relying on loans or grants.
However, the massive undertaking faced financial challenges, extending its completion to four years.
Despite the hurdles, Chatta’s vision has come to life, creating a unique space that celebrates and preserves Yoruba culture while serving as a hub for film production.
