Court Orders Nnamdi Kanu’s Sister-in-Law to Vacate Courtroom for publishing live videos of Proceedings

Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered Mrs. Favour Nnamdi Kanu, sister-in-law to IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu, to leave the courtroom.

The order was made after it was discovered that Favour recorded and published the court’s proceedings on her social media platform.

Justice Omotosho barred Favour from attending the next three court sittings, stating that he would have held her in contempt of court if not for the intervention of defense lawyer, Kanu Agabi.

Before making his decision, the judge questioned Favour about her actions.

Favour explained that she was live-streaming the court proceedings but was unaware that the judge was still sitting. She apologized and promised not to repeat the action.
