
VP Shettima Departs Nigeria For A 2 Day Visit To Sweden
Vice President Kashim Shettima has embarked on a two-day visit to Sweden to represent Nigeria in important bilateral engagements. This working visit aims to foster stronger relations between Nigeria and Sweden, focusing on various sectors of mutual interest.
During his trip, Shettima is expected to hold high-level bilateral talks with key government officials, including a significant meeting with Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden and the Swedish Prime Minister. These discussions are intended to enhance diplomatic ties and explore collaborative opportunities.
According to a statement from the Presidency, Vice President Shettima will seek to strengthen cooperation between Nigeria and Sweden in several vital areas. Key focuses include information and communication technology (ICT), innovation, education, digitalization, sustainable transport, mining, and agriculture.
This visit reflects Nigeria’s commitment to broadening its international partnerships and leveraging collaborative efforts to drive development in these sectors.
