In an interview with GRM Daily’s “Thoughts In A Culli,” Rema expressed his respectful nature and lack of desire to compete with his colleagues.

He emphasized focusing on himself and not getting distracted by fans who pit artists against each other. Rema noted that five years ago, he wasn’t aware of Burna Boy, Wizkid, or Davido, so he doesn’t see the need to compete with them now.

He views the competition as a game, emphasizing the importance of love and respect among artists beyond their music.
