AFCON U20: Flying Eagles will start ‘fast and furious’ against Kenya, says Coach Zubairu

Coach Aliyu Zubairu has hinted that the Flying Eagles will adopt an aggressive approach when they face Kenya’s Rising Stars in their final Group B match at the ongoing African Cup of Nations U20 AFCON U20 Championship in Egypt.
The Flying Eagles were held to a goalless draw by Morocco’s Junior Atlas Lions on Sunday, but Zubairu is confident that his team will secure the three points against Kenya.
“We’ll approach the game against Kenya with a positive mindset,” he said. “They are a strong team, and we’ll treat them with respect, but we’ll stay focused to ensure we get the three points.
Nigeria is currently second in Group B with four points from two games, behind Morocco on goal difference. To progress to the quarterfinals, the Flying Eagles must secure a win against Kenya.
Captain Daniel Bameyi has praised his teammates for their hard-fought draw against Morocco. “It was an intense game, and we executed some of the tactical plans on the pitch,” he said.
“We thank God for the result, and we must work harder to seal a place in the quarterfinals.”
The Flying Eagles will face Kenya in their final group game tomorrow, April 7th.
