Deputy Superintendent Of Corrections, 15 Others Kidnapped
A Deputy Superintendent of Corrections, Innocent Ogbu, along with 15 other individuals, has been reported abducted while traveling to Enugu for a development course.
Ogbu, who serves as the unit commander of the Armed Squad at the Medium-Security Custodial Centre in Minna, Niger State, was kidnapped on Saturday, November 23, 2024, along the Lokoja-Enugu road.

The command’s public relations officer, Rabiu Mohammed, confirmed the incident, stating that Ogbu was taken along with the other passengers traveling in an 18-seater commercial bus.
The matter has been reported to the police and the Department of State Services (DSS) for further investigation and action.
