Liverpool captain, Virgil Van Dijk has named 4 of the toughest strikers he has come across in his entire career.

The Dutch veteran has come up against the best strikers in the world during his time playing in the Premier League and Champions League.

Van Dijk mention AC Milan’s Olivier Giroud, Sergio Aguero, who is now retired, Manchester City’s Erling Haaland and Gabriel Jesus of Arsenal as the best strikers he has faced.

When asked about the toughest strikers he has played against,

Van Dijk said:

“Olivier Giroud. He always manages to score in one way or another.

“I can’t forget Agüero, who was very strong, Haaland as well obviously, and Gabriel Jesus too.”
