Jack Wilshere Set To Become New Coach Of Norwich
Jack Wilshere, the current manager of Arsenal’s Under-18 team, is set to make a significant career move by joining Norwich City as a first-team coach. The 32-year-old is anticipated to finalize his transfer to Carrow Road within the next few days. Although the move will not be officially confirmed before Norwich faces Stoke City in the Championship this Saturday, Wilshere is expected to oversee the Gunners’ Under-18s game against Aston Villa in the interim.
Wilshere’s arrival at Norwich will fill the vacancy left by Narcis Pelach, who recently departed to take on the role of head coach at Stoke City. The former England midfielder is viewed as a strategic, long-term addition to the Canaries’ coaching staff. Importantly, the issue of compensation has been resolved and is not seen as a barrier to his appointment.
Since retiring from professional football in 2022 at the age of 30, Wilshere has been successfully managing Arsenal’s Under-18s team. His transition to Norwich represents an important step in his coaching career, reflecting both his potential and the trust placed in him by the Canaries.
