Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has predicted that Manchester United will not secure a third-place finish in the Premier League this season.

Following United’s 1-0 win over Fulham, courtesy of Joshua Zirkzee’s late goal, Carragher shared his thoughts on Sky Sports.

He believes that United will face a intense battle to secure a top-four spot and qualify for the Champions League, indicating that the team’s performance against Fulham was not convincing enough to suggest a top-three finish.
