Aliko Dangote, Africa’s richest man, has made a significant revelation about his refinery’s capacity to meet Nigeria’s local fuel needs. According to him, the refinery has sufficient Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), also known as petrol, to cater to the country’s demands.
Dangote disclosed that the refinery’s tanks hold an impressive stockpile of petroleum products, including over half a billion litres of fuel. Additionally, the products in the tanks are valued at over 600 billion Naira.
This substantial reserve is poised to significantly impact Nigeria’s fuel supply landscape.
He said:
“…as we speak right now we have more than half a billion litres. The Refinery is producing enough refined products, like gasoline, diesel, and kerosene, to meet 100 per cent of Nigeria’s requirements.
