On Tuesday, a Nigeria Custom officer passed away while appearing before a House of Representatives Committee.

The officer experienced some health complications during the session with the House Committee on Public Account, leading to his death, as announced by the House.

Akin Rotimi, the House spokesperson, confirmed the officer’s death but withheld the name out of respect for the family.

“During the engagement, which occurred around 1:00 PM on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, the official developed sudden health complications.
