REALLY!! I’m Not Scared Of EFCC – Edo Gov. Obaseki
Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki has publicly stated that he has nothing to hide and is prepared to cooperate fully with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) if they request his presence. This declaration was made during the EdoBEST National Results-Sharing Session held in Abuja on Wednesday.
In his remarks, Obaseki emphasized his readiness to assist the EFCC and expressed that he is not afraid of any inquiries. He reiterated his commitment to transparency, asserting that he would willingly make himself available to the commission if needed. This stance reflects the governor’s confidence in his actions and integrity as a public official, amid ongoing discussions about accountability in governance.

“I’m not afraid of the EFCC. Why should I be? What is important is focus. I came into office and ignored the noise, concentrating on what I felt was important, and today you can see the results.”
“If the EFCC calls on me, I will hand myself over; I have nothing to hide.
