President Bola Tinubu is set to embark on a brief official trip to France on Monday, departing from Abuja, the nation’s capital.
According to a statement released by presidential media aide Ajuri Ngelale on Sunday night, the President will return to Nigeria after completing his work engagements in France.
Although the statement did not disclose the purpose of the trip, it confirmed that arrangements have been finalized for the President’s visit.”

The president barred unauthorised officials of government from attending the forthcoming United Nations General Assembly, UNGA, in New York, United States.
The presidency had hinged the directive on the need to reduce bloated governance costs, especially as unauthorised officials in the past travelled on the sidelines of such trips for personal interests.
The directive was handed down to officials of government by the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajiabiamila, during a one-day retreat organised by State House management for heads of agencies under the presidency.
