According to security analyst Bakatsine, the armed assailants stormed the area, causing widespread panic among residents before taking the students captive. The attack happened on Tuesday night, with Bakatsine sharing the information on his X handle on Wednesday.

“Yesterday night, bandits attacked Dutsin-Ma town, Katsina State, abducting two students of Federal University Dutsin-Ma in the Bayan Gidan Radio area.”

Efforts to reach the state police command for an official statement were unsuccessful at the time of filing this report.
