World most followed TikToker, Khaby Lame deported from US after arrest

Khaby Lame, the most followed content creator on TikTok with over 160 million followers, has been deported from the United States after overstaying his visa.
The 25-year-old Italian-Senegalese influencer was reportedly detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on June 6, 2025, at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas. He had initially entered the country on April 30 but failed to comply with the terms of his visa.
According to a statement issued by ICE, Khaby Lame was given a “voluntary departure order” and has now officially exited the country.
The agency confirmed that the deportation followed due legal procedures after the influencer’s overstay was discovered during routine immigration checks. Despite the media attention surrounding the case, Lame has remained silent, making no official comments on the incident at the time of filing this report.
However, shortly after his deportation, the popular TikToker broke his silence subtly through social media. On Wednesday, he updated fans via his Instagram Story—where he commands over 80 million followers—by revealing his current location as São Paulo, Brazil.
The brief post, which included the caption “São Paulo, Brazil,” confirms that he has moved on from the controversy and is continuing his global journey outside the United States.
