Former Big Brother Naija star, Deeone, has come out in support of media personality Nedu, following his departure from the Honest Bunch Podcast. Nedu’s exit comes amid an ongoing feud with social media critic, Verydarkman.

The controversy began when Deeone appeared on Nedu’s podcast, making allegations about Verydarkman’s sexuality. Verydarkman responded strongly, accusing Nedu of orchestrating the claims and attempting to tarnish his reputation.

According to Verydarkman, Nedu’s actions were motivated by his refusal to appear as a guest on the podcast. However, Deeone has publicly defended Nedu, refuting Verydarkman’s accusations and insisting that Nedu had no influence over his statements.

Deeone has pleaded with Nigerians to stand up for Nedu, who he believes is being unfairly targeted. Nedu had announced his exit from the Honest Bunch Podcast, stating that he was frequently made the scapegoat for discussions on the show.

In his words:

“Nedu is going through a lot, he did not tell me to post anything. That man is innocent, I swear with everything in this life. This is not content; this is real! VDM lied and manipulated everything. Don’t let this guy die.

“Inspector General of Police, please call us all to your office; I said everything I said, nobody told me to say. All of you should come out and support Nedu. This is not a matter of whether you like me or not. VDM lied against Nedu; he’s trying to frustrate him to kill himself.”
