Media personality Moet Abebe recently shared her observations on the differences between men in the UK and Nigeria during an interview on Cocktails and Takeaways.
She revealed that she formed friendships with men from Guinea Bissau and Morocco in the UK, noting that Nigerian men would not have approached her due to their perceived snobbish nature.
According to Moet, Nigerian men often measure themselves by material possessions and status, such as the car they drive and their income, and would only approach women they feel are on their level.
In contrast, she observed that men in the UK are more confident and willing to approach women regardless of their social status or material possessions, citing examples of Uber drivers or McDonald’s workers showing interest in classy women carrying luxury brands like Gucci.
