“The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has announced the lifting of the suspension on Arik Airlines operations, effective immediately.
This decision comes after a resolution was reached in the dispute between Atlas Petroleum and Arik Air, which had led to the suspension of the airline’s flights over a week ago.
Confirming the development, NCAA’s Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, Michael Achimugu, took to social media to inform the public that Arik Air is now cleared to resume its normal flight schedule.”
He said:
“The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo SAN, and the DG of NCAA, Capt. Chris Najomo has successfully resolved the impasse between Arik Air and Atlas Petroleum,”
“By this resolution, Arik Air will begin operations today.
“The priority of the Minister and the NCAA remains to ensure safe and secure air travel for all passengers.
“Arik Air passengers are currently checking in for scheduled flights.”
